We’re pleased to announce a significant advancement in maritime safety: the LiDAR 3D prototype, developed by ONERA for the SEADETECT project. This device utilizes an infrared laser to efficiently capture detailed 3D representations of its surroundings.
One of its notable capabilities is real-time data processing, enabling quick identification of potential collision risks irrespective of environmental conditions such as lighting. This technology discreetly supplements the SEADETECT sensor system, providing valuable additional data to enhance safety at sea.
